Modern, urban style meets traditional techniques at this rustic barberstore. This new store was yet to have their own logo or branding, which allowed us to work from a blank canvas. The stores sells own-label clothing as well as providing barbering services. A creative client with a clear vision meant that from the get-go we had a great working relationship and lots of ideas flowing.
The client was keen on producing a logo which would combine their traditional craft with a contemporary style. After some brand exploration we decided on a sharp, serif typeface contrasting with a rugged brush stroke logomark. We ensured this robust mark would work across different mediums and with varying colours.
As the client would plan on visiting multiple events, business cards were a must-have marketing material. Here we had the opportunity to display the creative side of their brand, printing the logomark as gloss on black card. We also assisted in the design of some elements of their own-label clothing allowing their products to be as professional as possible.
